Damp conditions have greeted the British Supersport paddock at Thruxton in Hampshire ahead of the third round of the championship. Leading free practice one session was current Supersport champion and lap record holder, Leon Camier on his Northpoint Ekerold Honda.

The lap record for the high speed Thruxton circuit is 1min 17.580secs, however due to the conditions Camier was lapping in a 1min 23.415sescs. Just 1.724secs behind him was Red Bull Honda's Eugene Laverty who is after his third consecutive podium this weekend.
Tom Sykes on the TAS machine was third with Stuart Easton on the Ducati in fourth, both lapping in the 1min 25s. Just outside that time bracket was Richard Wren, former Virgin Yamaha Superbike rider who is fielding his own team and is back on a Yamaha R6 where he started his career.
