I am not a Ducati fan, but there is a lot of nonsense spouted on this site. The BSB Ducatis were stripped and the internals were carefully checked by the BSB scutineers - they were found to be fully compliant with the rule book. The BSB rules were agreed amongst the teams, specifically standard rods, pistons and cranks. Consequently the BSB Duke is running the standard three ring road piston unlike the WSB spec Dukes which run a two ring piston. Through the speed traps the fours are running more mph although Shakeys bike is only a few mph down. If Shakey was on the HM Plant Honda and Haslam was on the Duke I'm sure it would be much closer. Also if Lavilla + Kiyo were still in BSB.
