i doubt turkington will leave WSR for quite some time, he left once to go to VXR, hated it and went back to WSR. The MG wasn't naff, if you cast your mind back to the o6 season i think you'll find turkington was up there fighting with the big teams.
All the guys at WSR are great, unfortunatly its not down to them who drives for them, I think you'll find the RAC has a huge influence which is part of the reason Rob Collard didn't stay on last season.

I wish T-O-C all the best for 2008, he's a top bloke and a great driver and I can't wait to see what he does next year.

WSR A GREAT TEAM?! HOW COME THEY WERE SLUNG OUT OF 1ST PLACE AT SNETTERTON FOR A UNDER WEIGHT CAR AND OFF POLE AT ROCKINGHAM FOR THE SAME THING? IT'S NOT JUST MONEY IT'S COMMON SENSE.

YOU WOULD'NT CATCH VXR OUT LIKE THAT : )

WSR are one of the most professional teams on the BTCC grid just because they have parted compny with tom means they have another top driver lined up for his seat i wish tom all the best in the future and hope to see him in the BTCC in 2008,

Shame to see Onslow Cole move on but Mat Jackson has shown him and others what can be done in a Beemer.

WSR are a class act, no need to put them down either, so much is down to having the funds to develop cars and get the best drivers on board, just look at SEAT and VXR, only exception is Team Dynamics who do an amazing job with very little resource.

Can't wait for 2008!

Sorry to hear of Tom leaving WSR, all the best and I hope we see him on the BTCC grid. At the same time I really hope we still have WSR in the BTCC next season. Despite them not winning the main drivers and team championship since they have been in the BTCC, the BTCC would be worse off for losing them, and if they do the WTCC next year - I hope its with them also being in the BTCC.

Mat Jackson wont sign for RAC cos i shouldnt think he'd walk away from his dads team. And tbh if they take their team to WTCC aswell as BTCC then i cant see Turkington sticking around in BTCC much longer which could mean a whole new line up for 08

ok i see ur point there. but they did have the naf old mg. 2nd season with the bmw will be different, if they put matt jackson in the 2nd car then they got a team that can fight for the titals. WSR will get there now they got a decent car, telling them to piss off the the wtcc aint a good idea. we have waited years n years to get the btcc this good again with all the different manufacturers. so let DB do wot he likes and dont kick up such a fuss over it,
