BTCC » Arena confirms Ford entry

It will be good to see a different make of car in the BTCC, but i hope they have a good supply of panels available with their choice of driver!!

Does that then mean that will get their hands on James Thompson now?,they said they wanted him to join last week.

Its nice to see Ford back, and Arena back.. but with Tom Chilton? Has he got the ability to help make the car competitive?

its great to see ford back in btcc,and i think tom is starting to improve and i hope this is the start of something good...

Interesting choice of driver if they are looking to develop the car.

No disrespect to Tom, but surely someone with a number of years experience is needed to get the best out of the car. Unless they have someone with that kind of driving experience, I fear we will see the cars pulled over on the side of the track or competing with the ex BTC spec machines!

Tom has driven in nearly 180 races which must have given him some knowledge, Also he has raced alongside Giovanardi and must have learned something about setting up cars. A year with Team Dynamics who are a proven team. So along with the top class engineers at Arena im sure by mid season they will be moving forward.

Arena are hardly not going to have Tom Chilton as a driver seeing its his team

Lets hope, for Arena's sake, that he drives a Focus ST better than he does a bus!!
