Whilst this is great news for the championship and for Thommo, I fail to see why they have replaced Sheddan!??

Why they put Pinkney in that car to start with is beyond me... I've always said that it should have been Sheddan and Thommo at dynamics...they're halfway there.

Really great news to hear that Thommo is returning, always been a big fan! Also don't understand the Sheddon situation , maybe there is some Honda contractual input in the decision? As for Pinkney still having a drive he must be bringing a shed load of money!?

Team Dynamics and Thommo, Now that's a dream team.
I might actually bother watching the BTCC this season now that James is back! :D

Good that James is back. As others have said though, I don't understand why they got rid of Gordon!

I think it's pretty obvious Pinkney was not a merit-based recruit, so it's gotta be money. Anyways, the whole 'we'll be happy to run a third car IF we find sponsors' excuse continues a trend in every series this year, and means Shedden's pretty much done for the season, at least with Dynamics.

Pinkney over Shedden who made that decision... Shedden has been one of the most consistant drivers over the past three years whereas where does Pinkney finish.. Looks like Steve Neal has taken a serious back hander.....

Pinkney payed for his seat out of his own pocket, and therefore deserves the seat over Shedden who hasnt got funding for the seat.

I wouldn't say he deserved the seat Rob...

I don't see why Thommo couldn't be in the third car, surely Thommo wouldn't have trouble finding sponsorship... then again, I would've thought Plato would have a heap of sponsors ready to throw money at him...

What happened to the diesel Team Dynamics were messing around with/planning to use? :?

Talent deserves race seats, not who has got the most £££ for it and so I feel bad for Shedden, he has been one of the most consistent front runners in the last few years of BTCC.

I tell you what I am absolutely gob smacked at this decision made by Steve Neal, Gordon is a fantastic driver and has been for a good few seasons ever since he entered the BTCC, How can they just replace him after the start of the season, it shouldnt happen at all, even If James is a fantastic driver, which he is. The third car should be for James, not Gordon and when the money has been brought in for this third car thats when James should come back. Im amazed by this decision
