Surely Gio will perform the best, i'd love to see Thompson do well

But as we all know thruxton destroys tyres which can make it anybodys race

Is Plato definitely coming out to play, then?

Sorry, but am I missing something here. Matt Jackson is slated to race for RML this weekend not Jason Plato. Unless something has changes and Crash hasn't updated us then this whole storey is pointless and seems to have been written by someone who has know knowledge of the BTCC at all.

What about Matt Neal, Giovinardi at al...all former champions.

Why do I feel this article was written a while ago and only just published on the site....

oops...apologies, I am getting articles/website/reports mixed up. I take back the champions bit as it does mention Neal, Giovinardi...however, the point of the article and my comment still stands...as far as Matt Jackson racing under RML not JP.

mkindy - jason plato will race a full season with the lacetti under the name silverline racing, but both cars will be maintained by team rml.
matt jackson will drive the sister lacetti under the name team rml at thruxton.

fabrizio giovanardi will fair the best at thruxton, you watch him fly in race one with no ballast, even if he carry maximum ballast in race two thruxton is the best place to carry the ballast.
jason plato is one to watch in the lacetti he showed us it's straight line speed at brands hatch, i'm sure james thompson will score usefull points too.
pressure is on matt neal now he'll be carry the full weight through qualifing and race one.

good luck to all of them!
