Oh Gio - "unprofessional driving" - so what was hitting Mat up the rear when there was time to come off the brakes and swerve? In my book that was professional - fouling. Be honest - you tried it on with Herbert who , being an Essex boy , did'nt back down - in fact that is the way to rile an Essex lad.
Stop winging and concentrate on the last meeing.

I was there yesterday, and coming towards the corner, Herbert and Turks were side by side, Gio came from a long way back ploughing into the corner, and Herbert gave no quarter and fought back and Gio paid the price. He tried too hard in my opinion.

He can dish it out but when he's on the receiving end it's a whole different matter!

I was there too, witnessing one of the best races of recent times. I agree with mb06. Its touring car racing at its best. Gio did come a long back and Johnny wasn't going to get biffed up again. I do like Gio, but its seems when things not going his own way he hits out. What about his pushing move on Jackson? Not very fair eh? Anyway its going to be a cracking finals day at Brands hatch.

Hopefully when Vauxhall pull-out next season he'll pi55 off to WTCC(or should it be called SeatTDi cup)

I haven't watched the "live" coverage for ages, mostly due to the poor driving skills of gio, collard and plato. They're all good drivers but seemingly find it hard to emulate thompson who is plainly a better driver.
Having watched herbert stand his ground and drive fantastically I am now definitely going to watch the brands hatch rounds!

...I meant to say that thompson is a driver that tends to drive around people and use driver skill rather than smashing tactics to get past other drivers.
I remember reading that after plato's first season in BTCC when he was with renault they built the entire body shell of his laguna out of damaged parts in his garden!

Jonny Herbert will have to be careful, as VXR will unleash Matt Neal to homing missile at Brands

Herbert basically races for matt neal's team so matt can do whatever he wants to that car
