Well done Colin - thoroughly deserved, and Plato drove a great three races to keep himself in the hunt until the end.

But, Matt Nealv - Yeah, I know it's team orders, but the guy has previous form for title-deciding antics. He spoiled the race, but in the end, the right man won. If Giovanardi had have won because of Neal's f**king about, it wouldn't have been the first time... the guy's a pain.

Jason Plato becomes only the second man to win all three BTCC races on a single day, but he can't stop Colin Turkington from securing the 2009 title at Brands Hatch

Fantastic season and fabulous final meeting, BTCC surely is one of the best series in the world for entertainment. Congrats to Colin and thanks to Jason for the entertainment.
Thumbs down for Neal, just a big bully becasue of who his dad is I suspect. Like a spoilt kid throwing his weight about in & out of the car (remember Reid incident). Always first to critisise Plato & others, but then even Harvey & Ben comment on Neals 'trademark' move ramming into people and shoving them wide or even off the track so he can pass. Seems like different rules for him.
I think the incident with Colin was a failed attempt to lure him into a collision that backfired!

Well done to Colin. Thoroughly deserved! Just a shame that what should be a congratualtions thread to Colin Turkington has once again degenerated into a Matt Neal character assassination. I'm surprised that hardly anyone here has heard of team orders? Also, I seem to be missing the point..Jason Plato is a hero for ramming everyone off the circuit as he is only 'going for it'. Other drivers adopt the same tactics time after time without punishment and they are also hailed as 'have a go heroes' so why is Matt Neal the bad guy for driving exactly the same as many others? Many congratulations to Colin Turkington. Definitely the most deserving winner!
