This is ridiculous! How a championship winning driver can still be without a drive for his title defending season is beyond me. :?

I know the financial aspect of it all, but someone should be paying Colin to drive, not the other way round.

If i had millions of pounds, no thousands, to spare, i would help the guy out. :)

He deserves to be in a car capable of defending his championship title, and its a joke that he's not.

Big sponsors have lots of disposable income :-o, and could easily afford to pay a fee for Colin to drive, and then reap the rewards when he's winning.....

Hopefully this being reported as it is will lead to a few sponsors, as it would be a shame for Colin not to be out with WSR.

The Swedish championship has only announced 15 entries for this year - so whilst Colin not being on the grid would be a big shame, the BTCC seems to be holding up better than the other European championships overall.

I really hope he gets a late deal done, all the best Colin

Thats rather harsh binza. It looks like Plato, Neal and probably Jackson will be there, and there is likely to be 20 or more cars when the Swedish series only has 15. Don't be so negative!!

Surely the problem is with west surrey and RAC not Colin.

When Motorbase have retained Airwaves, Dynamics have got Honda, and RML have convinced Chevrolet, why have the champion team not worked like hell to retain the champion?

Also RAC should be ashamed that they have abandoned WSR after they forfilled everything, the economy has not effected them they are using it as an excuse.

How depressing! How sad that all good things have to come to an end! A professional racing driver surely isnt worried about where his next dinner comes from!!!! He should keep his chin up and get on with life like all the rest of us. :)
