It's not the strongest BTCC entry we've seen, but there are plenty of talented drivers oout there. A shame Turkington's missing, and I wish more of the rookies were really hot prospects, but the racing should be as good as ever.

Call me a romantic (or a lunatic, for that matter) but I hope there's a reason for both Triple 8 Vectras still being TBA. And I suspect the reason just might be Colin! I would be surprised if Mister Gow wasn't ripping his aussie backside open right now to work out a deal for Colin to be in the field, and T8 is just the perfect (apart from last) option right now. Let's keep our fingers crossed that my little fantasy is not too far off the truth...

I'd be surprised if Triple 8 can snare Gio on the kind of salary they can offer, but I suspect some behind-the-scenes negotiations with Alan Gow are going on to try to get Turkington there. Phil Glew would be good news too, he showed real promise in the Clios last year. Johnny Adam or Adam Jones might be good calls too.
