BTCC » Lloyd to make BTCC test debut

Daniel Lloyd: This is an absolutely fantastic opportunity for me. Driving a touring car has been my goal since I started racing karts in 2003, so to have the chance to drive a car as competitive as the ex-works Vectra – and with a team as successful as Triple Eight – is incredible.

Probably a good move for Dan. I don't think he suits single seaters given that he struggled in Skip Barber and could only manage 7th and 4th place finishes at Oulton Park at the weekend in the car that won there last year and went onto win the National FF1600 championship for Cliff Dempsey Racing. Good luck to him although but I hope Triple 8 still have a place for the very talented Phil Glew.
