this series is a shambles if it is like this next year then i will not be watching it anymore im now sick of the banger racing nature that it has especially Plato (who caused the crash), Neal and Collard

I have been watching BTCC for 20 years and there have always been incidents such as at Donnington race one almost every year. Its the nature of BTCC racing - sometimes it all goes wrong. Its to be expected on UK tracks and I never felt there was anything intentional from the nudge from Plato into the back on Neal that sparked it off. Neal didn't either.. he recognised that Plato was just trying to follow him through.
Sometimes things get too close. If you dont like it, watch F1 with cars about 1 mile apart from each other. BTCC will always involve some touching, and some crashes. That is it.

The old quote - its like banger racing - its such a cliche that is untrue and said by casual arm chair so called fans who have nothing better to do than to make stupid and ill founded statements.

Hope everyone else enjoyed going to the event!
