Presuming Ford are regretting putting their eggs in the Chilton hat with their ridiculous switches at Silverstone. However, at least Ford are consistent. Ford's BTCC approach to driver management is in keeping with the haphazard approach it takes in WRC..

i dont think that team aon is an official ford team although i may be wrong. i thought that it was a chilton set-up to provide chilton with a drive, therefore it wouldnt be a ford cxxx-up, but the fault with chilton trying to promote himself.

Its not a Ford manufacturer team! The team is funded by AON and run by Arena Motorsport, however they are in the constructor/manufacturer tiltle as the cars are built by Arena Motorsport. As i stated on a previous post i dont think they put their eggs in one basket at Silverstone. It was a clever move back then because on the day they managed to give both of their drivers a shot at the title by moving the two Tom's two places up in the championship standings! ie TOC up to second from fourth and Chilton up from sixth to fourth! Now they know they only have one shot so Chilton WILL be a key player at Brands as we all know they know how to play games!
