Geoff Steel Racing will return to the BTCC following a three-year absence after teaming up with Independents' Class regular Martyn Bell.

@Taz: Oi Mate, perhaps you didn't read the article, but it clearly says: "Bell will take on a team manager role and be responsible for the commercial and sponsorship side of the operation." So Marty, a nice guy but not setting the world alight as a driver, will not be in one of the cars. Cheers!

Good to see Martyn back in the BTCC in whatever capacity. I do hope he does drive and with a sensible budget behind him could do very well. Lets not forget he cut his craft in BMW's winning several championships.
I am sure we will have a chinwag in the paddock.

I have to agree with Ian's comment. Martyn was Pail O'Neill's team mate in 2009 so lets hope they have kept in touch, because if anyone deserves a seat in 2011 then it's Owy!
