Ian Harrison: I've got high hopes that James [Nash] and Tony [Gilham] will be competing at the sharp end in 2011.

In the early part of the season I think the Pirtek boys may just have the edge over Triple8 as they have already had a season with the Swindon NGTC engine. However I think they will be much more competetive in the latter half of the season.

The Swindon NGTC engine has no manufacturer's link. They have developped it for the BTCC organiser and it can be used by any team / car. I believe it is very cost effective and Jordan showed last year that it is a winner too.

IIRC the Swindon NGTC engine is loosely based on a GM engine block which is why it was able to be dropped into the Vectra (Jordon/Pinkney)so easily in the first place.

Taz always makes strange comments! He never has anything positive to say about anything. I don't really understand why he bothers, he is obviously not of fan of the BTCC. Be happy and get a life!
