This series is dying on it's ar5e & has been ever since the manufacturers couldn't afford to take part.
I can remember the "good old days" of Capris, Dolomites etc but now realisticly there are only 3 or 4 drivers who have a cat in hells chance of a podium let-alone a win.
Just look at how many comments are made on any BTCC item for the interest that is currently there!

I love BTCC and find F1 tedious and boring. Each to their own I suppose but I can never understand why people would go to the trouble of seeking out a message board to comment on if they weren't remotely interested in the sport? BTCC has bumper crowds at every race so maybe the fans attend the races rather than talking about them!

Firstly there are at least 10 drivers with a very good chance of a podium every race. Secondly it's pure snobbery that has people saying it's not as good. It's not as 'high profile' without bigger saloons, manufacturers and bigger budgets but the racing is as good as it's been for years and will keep improving.
