2 Points:

1) trebor901 - What a load of tosh!

2) The stewards are the ones to blame as they have let the drivers get away with these standards for too long, not just in BTCC but in all forms from Formula 0ne down.

The most important thing about the antics of these top tin tops drivers is that the next generation are watching and learning and will think this sort of behaviour is acceptable.Punishments should be far more severe and what affects the drivers most?, a 3 race ban would give both them and thier teams food for thought. Hearing Plato complain though is laughable as he used to be one of the very worst offenders!!

They have made the NGTC rules so that the cars are cheaper to build and run. Which means you will attract drivers & teams with less money and often less experience and talent. I could easily list 10 drivers who shouldn't be racing BTCC this year. It's the same with all "cost cutting" series, cut costs, cut quality. It's still better than 2011 WTCC though.

Couldn't quite believe what I was reading! Jason isn't averse to punting drivers out of his way either. He has cleaned up his act recently but I remember all too clearly his moves on Yvan Muller, Colin Turkington and any other driver who he felt was in his way. No Jason it's not club racing - I attend all the club racing at Knockhill and the drivers there tend to avoid shunts as repairs come out of their own pockets. His comment was an insult to club racers everywhere.
