Little bit confused why Tom would announce that he is not racing 15 minutes prior to start of race 3???? Bit weird that, with sponsorship commitments etc.

I will take over the Golf if they want - getting better all the time...

Where will Tom be headed????

Might he be headed for Plato's seat as all he can do is bash his way up and down the points table , of course it wont be his fault he hit the back of the BMW in front of him in the corner and spun him out in an unfair and unpublishable way just because his team did not give him a turbo,,, sorry rant over

Onslow Cole for the Silverline drive

I wasn't expecting the Golf to drop back down the order again so quickly. At Donington and Thruxton the car made good progress.

As for Onslow-Cole's future, there are a few possibilities. I believe Special Tuning still have 2 Leons available and he could try the Geoff Steel BMW. He knows a bit about the 320si when he drove for WSR. But I think him and the Airwaves Ford could be a potent combination, if the team does have a third car. He knows the chassis well, and Jackson has proven that the Mountune turbo engine is a decent substitute for the LPG unit.

...maybe Airwaves if he has found some backing. Then again maybe he just ran out of money for AMD. He is a far better driver than he is given credit for..deserves to be in a top team. He had some decent wins a few years ago at Vauxhall.

Talk about timing - 15 mins before the last race, it sort of tells you a whole lot about the bloke.
I sincerely hope the litle squirt fails miserably in which ever team he surfaces next and is duly dropped 15 minutes before his next race!

He's gone back to Aon and I read that Hollamby dropped Onslow Cole not Onslow Cole deciding to leave?! Lets see if he does well in the Aon Ford, better than in the golf!!

Appears TOC told them he was leaving and the team pulled his entry to prevent damamge. Seems a shame as they were making progress.

Surprised he's heading to Arena after the Silverstone debacle

He's given Team Aon another chance. Let's hope they treat him a bit better this time. I always liked watching the two Toms as team mates last year.

I wonder which number he'll use. Newsham carried the 17 from Geoff Steel to Special Tuning. But the 99 seems to belong to the Golf as Hollamby used it last year. Does Onslow-Cole need to keep the 99 for the Ford or will he switch to number 4?

I think they only really want Onslow-Cole to develop the car because he is pretty good at developing the car, But hey Aon may now have 3 great drivers in the hunt for the championship, if Neate performs like he did this weekend!!
