Jason gets his way as normal. The season looked very promising with a number of drivers looking for wins ie Chilton and jackson. Due to the many rule changes which now seem to benefit only one person...Plato we have rubbish racing with less overtaking. Why bother with the rest of the season, it seems obvious that Jason and his best mate Alan (Gow) are determined to doctor the rules to suit him. After all the NGTC and other turbo cars are within the rules. If Plato wants to compete on an even footing develop a car like other teams. Most of us are sick to death of seeing the BTCC ruined.

Say what you like about the guy but he had a stonker of a lap and hes 9kgs lighter then the Hondas so, Honda fans and turbo fans alike cant moan to much about him being on pole. other N/A cars were lighter still but couldn't get the job done. so well done to JP.

@ mark j

It would be great to have on spec BUT it's also nice to have a large grid. I don't mind this year's differences in car because it's mostly a transition year and it means that we still have a lot of cars. NGTC as looking like the way forward though.
