Here we go a negative comment just for the sake of it, Aussie v8's and DTM yes deffo very good racing especially Aussie V8's, but so is BTCC and WTCC it's just run to a different formula, the racing is competative and close and not dominated by one team/manufacturer, and you get 3 and 2 races per weekend respectively, what more do you want???

As for nobody drivers - that's just a silly comment, most of them are excellent drivers, I've seen some poor drivers in Aussie and DTM, but you will get that in any racing series, that's how the best come to the top doh....

I love to watch all forms of motorsport at all levels from local club in battered 10 year old cars to the latest spec international series, and have done so for the last 40 yrs, in that time I've learnt that it does not really matter who's driving what car or indeed at which circuit or country. What is important is that the racing is close and competative and entertaining!

Suggest next season when the BTCC comes round agai

I'd agree but the standard of drivers isn't as high as it once was but his comments were really to start a flame war.

The cars are pretty boring though, at some circuits it works but at circuits with long straights it can be painful to watch.

Still at least it's not on Sky so you can watch it.

crachet, are you serious that WTCC is a good series?

It is a joke. Oh which Daewoo is going to win this weekend, oh it is Driver A.

There is no overtaking and the cars look painfully slow, and the feeling of speed is important.

BTCC is a good series 90% of the time though, so don't think I am just a Touring Car basher. I just don't have time for the snoozefest of WTCC. It was far better when the BMW-SEAT-Alfa battles were going on it ETCC days.

Ah, forgot to quote this:

so is BTCC and WTCC it's just run to a different formula, the racing is competative and close and not dominated by one team/manufacturer

LOL. Daewoo Chevvy have won what percentage of races this year? Even the reverse grid doesn't stop them!
