Dear oh dear BTCC really is glorified club racing. Well done Dave but is this really the worlds best national touring car championship when business men doing their hobby are on pole position. Come on manufacturers and UK importers

@ the truth- you can't even spell Matt NEAL's name correctly. That's the truth.
Yes things could have been SO much better- we could've had Jason "the manipulating hypocrite" Plato on pole...

If it wasn't for businessmen indulging their hobbies or families backing their offspring there would be very few cars on the grid!Dave Newsham has worked his way up from club racing to clios and now in touring cars, Matt Neal also used to race fiestas as did Gordon Shedden. None of them have bought themselves directly into touring cars. I am just thankful that there is still a series to watch given the lack of money in this country at the moment.
