So the result stands, and Plato's last corner
pass was not illegal????
For someone who's "brakes had locked up", he sure had no problem swerving from the right to the left of the
track to follow Shedden, so he could punt him off!!

Can anyone make a clean pass in this series?

Joke!

Anyone out there got any opinions on Plato's driving standards - from where i was sitting he appeared to take out both Rob Collard in the 2nd race which backfired on him, and then he gained 2nd place in race 3 by shoving Gordon Sheddons Honda straight on at the last corner.
Where,s the MSA Steward on this one, particularly as we keep hearing criticism of the driving standards of the younger drivers all the time,!
When can we expect the Race Stewards to do their job, or is my eyesight failing me!!

According to Plato straight after the race"Sheddon braked early that's why he hit him"....So he braked halfway down the straight then? Fooking joke!

Jason Plato is a talented drive with one MAJOR fault. He always tries to bend the laws as far as they can go to WIN WIN WIN. His actions against Gordon Shedden did not warrant a two second penalty. They warranted a disqualification, especially after he had already had is licence endorsed earlier in the meeting for breaching the standards required of a driver. This result only goes to show that the BTCC are reluctant to impose the letter of the law against what they see as a competitor who will always draw in the money for the BTCC. A real shame that they have shown no bottle to uphold safe driving protocols in my opinion.
