Jason Plato put his MG6 into pole position for the first Oulton Park BTCC race of the 2012 season with a last gasp effort at the end of a knife-edge close qualifying session.

i think its meaning the 1st of the 3 races, with the second being decided by the finishing places of the 1st and the third being the reverse grid.

on a side note has anyone checked on plato? there has been a real drop on his "Parity" whinges from last year

Absolutely spot on 'cas'- Plato isn't whingeing quite as much because he clearly knows he has an advantage at the moment.
It's a typical example of Plato's frequent hypocrisy.

You all seem to be forgetting straight after the VERY first race this year Mat Neal was whingeing about the MG

so its not just Plato, also its 0.077 which is hardly a large difference is it.

read the facts before slagging off.

If there is such a performance advantage with the MG then I am shocked to see good old Andy neate not ripping up the track in the sister MG.
