Why write "who" as a comment. The article states who he is. Making yourself sound a bit silly taz!

I'm sure Thorney would love Gio or Turkington but those drivers are professionals who have to be paid for whereas Stockton is paying for a drive. Remember these aren't works teams they are privateers.

I was been ironic, it was a reference to the lack of big names in the BTCC these days, still as you say it's mostly made up of privateers. There's some poor drivers at the tail end though....and further up...Andy Neate springs to mind.

Andy Neate, Chris James and Liam Griffin. 3 of the most talentless drivers ever to grace the btcc, obviously have large wallets. Guys like these should run a team not drive.
