Why all the negativity? Sam is a hugely promising young driver, and Menu is past his peak and has been shown the way by Huff and Muller consistently in the last few years. Sam may not be quicker immediately, but in 2 years he could be. Realistically, the BTCC isn't at a level where it can attract international superstars, but we have a big grid with plenty of talented British drivers.

Surely if MG were serious about the constructors title then they would stick an experienced driver in the car to bring it home in the points look at neate last year how many points did he bring to the team?

When you have 2 honda's coming home high in the points in every race then you can't afford to have only 1 MG scoring consistently until this happens I can't see MG bringing home the constructors title any time soon.

True but Sam Tordoff has got plenty of potential so maybe 888 want a home grown driver. He'll be 100% better than Andy Neate at any rate, it was a miracle he could make it out of the pitlane in one piece half the time.
