Can anyone tell me why the boost was turned down on the Hondas.

In this NGTC era I thought the engines were the same any it was every man for himself.

If Honda build the best car why should they be penalised.

After all Plato reckons he has the best car, but only because TOCA penalise Honda.

Because Alan Gow wants to stage it so it comes down to the last round, also the MG's had a big straight line advantage, didn't seem that fair. Airwaves focus had a massive straight line speed advantage, he meddles far too much, usually when Plato whinges.

What a load of rubbish...

The rules are meant for performance parity, parity being they are equal in all aspects of the car...

Those Hondas have immense cornering ability and can easily beat any other car on the field in breaking and cornering that's why they had their boost turned down to allow everyone to be as quick as each other lap by lap.

What annoys me is the fanboys of Honda whining when everything doesn't go their way and blaming others when they get knocked off the track e.g Matt Neal after being shunted off, but so quickly forget when they blatently cheat e.g any Andrew Jordan race ever and sheddon... Oh let's just shunt someone off who is better at the tactical side of racing, surely if the driver is good enough he could out fox the other without being a prat and knocking someone else off then and crying when Plato gives him a taste of his medicine.

Alan Gow has done an excellent job in introducing tyres , turbo boost, and weights in to the BTCC to spice up the show for the media. With regard to penalties, this is down to the organisers and the MSA to decide whats allowed and what is'nt ref driving standards etc - this is where the inconsistencies of penalties occur. It's not in the hands of the teams and Drivers
