MG's Jason Plato has taken a commanding BTCC pole-position at Snetterton, confirming the former double-champion isn't out of the title race just yet.

Looking at the picture, and it's not just JP, what is the point of having kerbs/rumble strips/whatever? His car is almost - almost - entirely off of the circuit. I know circuits have to be mindful of kerb heights if they host bikes, but surely it's not beyond the wit of man to have a solution to this?

Plato has been breaking track records all season but never seems to get his boost looked at.

Look at how slow the Hondas are down the straights. I agree @champers it seems to be fixed in JP's favour.
