Sanitisation of the sport will lead to alot less overtaking thus making the sport less appealing to spectators, I really do hope they think this through btcc has lost the appeal it had during the 90s and was on the rise but this could hurt that rise.

If you are only marginally faster than the car in front and he is allowed to drive defensively he can block you everywhere, they need to look at v8 supercars it has a good penalisation scheme
