SEAT Sport UK is to show its support for the MSA's Go Motorsport
campaign by carrying stickers promoting the initiative for the remainder of the HiQ MSA British Touring Car Championship season.
The initiative, launched earlier this year by Formula 1 championship leader Lewis Hamilton, seeks to help people understand how to get involved in motorsport at all levels and both Darren Turner and Jason Plato will now carry branding to increase awareness of the programme for the rest of the year; the Leon TDis having carried the branding for the first time at Oulton Park last time out.
"We believe everyone involved in UK motor sport should get behind this campaign to encourage new competitors, spectators and volunteers into the sport,” SEAT UK motorsport manager Scott Dennis said.
“From a team point of view it is great to see the big crowds who come to watch the spectacular action of the BTCC and the SEAT Cupra Championship, and we also know that without the time and effort put in by the marshals and other volunteers that there would be no motor sport in the UK."
