Leading British Superbike Championship racer Leon Haslam will get the chance to experience life on four-wheels next week when he hits the track at Knockhill in BTCC machinery.

Haslam, racing at the circuit this weekend in the latest rounds of the BSB season, will stay on after the race meeting draws to a close to try his hand behind the wheel of one of the Team Halfords cars - with the BTCC enjoying its annual trip north of the border the following weekend.

The run will be nothing more than a fun outing for the 25-year-old but he admitted he was looking forward to the chance to test the touring car.

"We always have a bit of a road trip to Knockhill as we will be driving up in my motorhome and will be staying there until Monday," Haslam said. "I am having a go in the Team Dynamics British Touring Car after the weekend which will be a bit of a laugh and hopefully go and play a round of golf!"
