Jordan takes latest HiQ award.

Andrew Jordan has been named as the latest winner of the HiQ Champagne Moment – voted for by fans of the British Touring Car Championship.

The John Guest Racing ace secured 67 per cent of the vote thanks to his storming run in the final race of the weekend at Oulton Park, where he secured his first podium finish since moving into the BTCC at the start of the year. Adam Jones, who also finished on the podium in the same race, finished second in the voting.

Gareth Lockwood, of Wiltshire, who logged his details onto the website, was picked at random to present the magnum of champagne to Jordan at Knockhill this Sunday and complimentary tickets to a BTCC race of his choice will also be provided as a prize.

“Getting my first podium finish was the best moment of my career so far, so it is lovely to have a permanent reminder of it courtesy of HiQ's champagne moment,” he said.

“I will take the positives with me to Knockhill and will look forward to meeting Gareth and receiving my bottle of champagne from him.”
