Andrew Jordan will hope to secure a third HiQ MSA British Touring Car Championship podium in as many meetings as the series heads to Silverstone this weekend for the penultimate round of the year.

The teenager took his maiden top three finish at Oulton Park after battling to a fine third place in the final race of the weekend and he then repeated the feat last time out at Knockhill after taking third again in race three behind Darren Turner and Rob Collard.

At a circuit where the Honda Integra dominated the last time Silverstone hosted the BTCC back in 2006, Jordan will now look to impress once again and he admitted that the car he runs alongside his father Mike was one that should run well on the short National circuit.

"Knockhill was a great result for everyone in the team, coming off a podium at Oulton Park," he said, "and I think we'll go well at Silverstone too, as our car is good round there."

However with the short nature of the lap at Silverstone set to make qualifying vital ahead of the weekend, Jordan hinted that the John Guest Racing squad could elect to run the team game to try and get both cars as high up the grid as possible.

"We'll try and work together in qualifying to get a tow," he said. "Our pace is very similar. At Knockhill, our best race laps were within three-hundredths of a second of each other."
