Motorbase complete final HiQ forum.

British Touring Car Championship title sponsor HiQ has brought the curtain down on its successful fans forums after Motorbase Performance pair Rob Collard and Steven Kane met fans at the company's Orpington branch.

The duo, who will hope to continue the recent strong form of the BMW team in its second home round of the season, met hundreds of fans ahead of this weekend's season finale at Brands Hatch.

Overall, more than 2,000 fans attended the forums over the course of the year, which were held at a HiQ store local to each circuit during the 50th anniversary BTCC season.

“Our fans' forums have been so successful and Rob and Steven rounded things off perfectly,” HiQ's BTCC spokesman James Bailey said. “They were a credit to their team, and entertained hundreds of fans in Orpington, all of whom will be cheering for them when they take to the track at Brands Hatch on Sunday.

“It was a real coup to get Rob and Steven to our HiQ centre in Orpington and we certainly wish them all the best.”
