Turkington to race at Weston.

Fresh from securing the HiQ MSA British Touring Car Championship Independents' crown for the second straight season, Colin Turkington will take on a new challenge this weekend when he takes part in the annual Weston Beach race on Weston-super-Mare seafront.

The Team RAC driver will swap his BMW 320si for a quad-bike for the three-hour event, which will see some of the top off-road bikers compete head-to-head against hundreds of amateur riders.

Turkington will ride bike #200 in the Quad 2 Man Team class, where he will line up alongside brother Gary.

As well as the race itself, fans attending the event will benefit from a range of activities including shows from the Over The Top stunt crew, a 'Beach For Life' Charity fun run in aid of Cancer Research, the chance to win a quad and a number of trade stands.
