Herbert joins Dynamics for Goodwood

HiQ MSA British Touring Car Championship front-runners Team Dynamics has announced that former F1 racer Johnny Herbert will drive one of its Honda Civics up the Goodwood Hill during the annual Festival of Speed.

Herbert will be at the wheel of the car on Friday 3 July, completing runs up the hill during both the morning and the afternoon.

The former Formula 1 driver – who took three Grand Prix victories during his career – will be making his first appearance in a British Touring Car Championship machine and is likely to be one of the most popular figures on the day having long been a favourite with British fans.

“It's great to be back at Goodwood, and it never ceases to amaze me how much the event just grows and grows year upon year,” Herbert said. “It has an added 'extra' for me this year because, for the first time in my racing career, I will be driving a British Touring Car.

“For me to have my first run in a touring car up the Goodwood Hill is very special indeed."
