Tom Onslow-Cole kept Team Aon on top of the pile by pacing the second Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship free practice session of the weekend at Brands Hatch.

Following on from Tom Chilton pacing the first session, Onslow-Cole posted the quickest time of the weekend to date with a best lap of 1min 32.430secs to outpace his Ford team-mate during the session.

Double Rockingham winner Matt Neal was third quickest for Honda while James Nash was again impressive with the fourth quickest time. Gordon Shedden and Paul O'Neill rounded out the top six in the quickest of the BTC-spec cars for Team with Tech-Speed.

Having been forced into an engine change following the first session, Jason Plato was tenth quickest having spent much of the session going in and out of the pits, although there were a number of other drivers to hit issues during the final practice prior to qualifying.

Dave Pinkney suffered gearbox failure on the Cooper Straight which has left his team with work to do ahead of qualifying, while Mat Jackson suffered an engine sensor fault which forced him to park up on the side of the circuit.

Fellow BMW driver Andy Neate meanwhile went off into the gravel exiting the final corner, bringing out the red flag as his car was recovered.
