Bumper crowd due for finale

Brands Hatch set for bumper BTCC crowd for Finals Day
A record-breaking crowd is set to appear at Brands Hatch for the 2010 Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship season finale after circuit owners MotorSport Vision announced increased advance ticket sales for the event.

MSV has recorded the best advance sales for any BTCC event since taking over its group of circuits in 2004, with fans keen to see who will emerge on top of the four-way fight for the 2010 crown.

Jason Plato currently leads the way in the title race but has Matt Neal, Gordon Shedden and Tom Onslow-Cole giving chase.

“We're delighted with the advance sales for this weekend,” MSV boss Jonathan Palmer said. “Brands Hatch is the spiritual home of the BTCC season finale and the Indy circuit's natural amphitheatre offers spectators superb views of the close and exciting racing that has become a hallmark of British Touring Cars.

“Alan Gow and his team have done a great job in producing a championship that continues to deliver fantastic entertainment for motorsport fans and this, combined with outstanding promotion from MSV, will deliver a record crowd at Brands Hatch this weekend. We're expecting a brilliant atmosphere at this year's title-deciding final round.”

Interesting headline use of the word "bumper"! I have a feeling this weekend will see a fair bit of this for 2 reasons...1 the nature of the circuit & 2 the way some of these blokes drive!
