7 – Andrew Jordan
Tenth place in the championship standings isn't really a fair reflection on Andrew Jordan's season – especially given that he celebrated BTCC success for the first time during the 2010 campaign.
Back with the family-run Eurotech team – under the Pirtek Racing banner – Jordan was clearly more comfortable than he had been at Vauxhall the previous season and he was a popular winner at both Croft and Brands Hatch.
Unfortunately for Jordan, the two wins would be his only trips to the podium as the team dealt with the challenges of running the new NGTC-specification turbo engine.
Although clearly quick on its day, the engine did cause its fair share of problems with overheating proving to be an issue on more than one occasion and Jordan also having to deal with handling problems caused by the different weight of the engine as opposed to the S2000 unit previously used in the Vectra.
However, putting the problems to one side, the two victories secured will no doubt be the first of many.
