Frank Wrathall targets more points for Dynojet at Thruxton
Wrathall hopes for forward step
Frank Wrathall says he is chasing more strong results for the Dynojet Racing team at Thruxton this weekend in the latest three rounds of the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship.

After a difficult start to the season at Brands Hatch, Wrathall secured three points finishes with his new Toyota Avensis at Donington Park last time out, with the Lancashire-based driver hoping to build on those results at the quickest circuit on the schedule.

“Donington was just what we needed - three solid races and no damage,” he said. “Hopefully we can repeat that and perhaps even do a little better.”

Last season, Wrathall endured a tough weekend at Thruxton as the Dynojet team dealt with early teething troubles with its NGTC-spec machine but he said he was confident that the revised version of the car would be up to speed.

“In what little time get did get on track [last year] we were soon on the pace,” he said, “so I hope that with the advances that we have made with the Toyota we will be even closer to the front.

“I have always gone well at Thruxton, but it is an unusual track and you can never really be totally sure how things will pan out. We will certainly be giving it our best shot.”
