Motorbase reveals NGTC Ford Focus
Motorbase Performance has revealed a brand new NGTC-spec Ford Focus ahead of the resumption of the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship at Snetterton.

The car has been built up during the summer break and will make its debut this weekend in the hands of Mat Jackson.

It becomes the latest NGTC-spec machine to join the grid and will be turning a wheel for the first time when it hits the track for the opening practice session of the weekend.

“I'm extremely proud of what we will be achieving this weekend,” Motorbase boss David Bartum said. “We're about to enter a new chapter for Motorbase Performance, one which has taken a lot of hard work and further shows our commitment to the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship as a constructor.

“We have taken the decision to design and build our own touring car and I now look forward to the development stage of this new project.”

While Jackson is set to run this car this weekend, Aron Smith will continue at the wheel of his S2000-based Focus. Liam Griffin had already revealed he would be missing the Snetterton event.
