Honda retains Shedden and Neal

As expected, Gordon Shedden and Matt Neal will remain with Honda Yuasa Racing in 2013

Gordon Shedden and Matt Neal will once again spearhead the Honda Yuasa Racing team's challenge in the 2013 Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship, it has been confirmed.

2012 brought Team Dynamics many challenges in the BTCC with new regulations and a new car, in the new Civic, but ultimately it proved very successful, with Shedden and Neal finishing 1-2 in the Drivers' championship, while Honda also scooped both the Manufacturers' and Team prizes.

Commenting on the year's success both Shedden and Neal had a special thanks for all the fans who they said gave them the strength to fight every step of the way.

"It's been a long road for both of us and without the fans who have endured some very wet races this year, we could not have achieved this success. Their support has been amazing," said Shedden, who took his first time in 2012.

Meanwhile, Honda UK and title sponsor Yuasa Battery Sales (UK) Ltd have announced that they will continue their winning partnership next year. Yuasa inked a three-year title sponsorship deal back in March.
