Ciceley Racing reveals 2013 BTCC livery
9 January 2013
Ciceley Racing has revealed the livery that it will use for its debut season in the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship.
The Lancashire-based team has been reformed to run Adam Morgan in the BTCC this year having previously taken the 24-year-old to the Michelin Ginetta GT Supercup crown back in 2011.
That success saw Morgan win a funded drive in the BTCC last year, although he endured a tough campaign with the Speedworks team – with his season being beset by incidents that prevented him from securing the results to match some impressive pace behind the wheel of his Toyota Avensis.
Returning to the Ciceley fold, Morgan will again be at the wheel of an Avensis this season with the team having purchased the car that fellow Lancastrian Frank Wrathall campaigned in 2011.
The car will feature a striking blue, orange and black livery carrying the logo of the family business, leading north-west England Mercedes-Benz truck and van dealership Ciceley Commercials Ltd, with further backing from Fuchs Titan Race, PM+M, ModelZed, Snickers Workwear, Graphix and White Wave Web Solutions.
“The Toyota has just returned from the paintshop and the metallic blue base colour looks absolutely stunning,” Morgan said. “I can't wait to see how the finished car will look.
“The aim is to get the Toyota ready well before the season starts so we can get out testing, We have 90 per cent of the parts assembled already and the build is going well.”
