Wrigley's Airwaves has been confirmed as the title sponsor for Motorbase's assault on the 2013 Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship.
The team will run under the Airwaves Racing banner during the year ahead after a deal that was in place from 2009 to 2011 was revived, with the Ford Focus NGTC cars of Mat Jackson
and Aron Smith running in a striking new livery as a result.
Redstone, Truphone and Addison Lee remain in place as team sponsors for the year ahead, with the team set to be formally launched at an event on Friday; that launch coming after the team's first on-track outing of 2013 on Thursday.
The team has already taken part in a series of internal staff launches at two Wrigley's sites prior to the first images of the car being released to the general public.
"We're absolutely delighted to welcome Airwaves back on board as title sponsor for this season,” Motorbase boss David Bartrum said. “This year marks the brand's fourth year with the team and once again shows the strength and appeal of the championship to attract leading brands such as Wrigley.
“This week's internal launches at Wrigley's have been a great testament to how far the partnership has come in the past four years. We literally had hundreds of staff come along to see the unveiling of the new Focus livery and it was great to be able to give them a chance to get involved and meet the team for themselves.”
Motorbase will also run of its older S2000-spec Fords this season for Liam Griffin.
