Eurotech Racing has announced that it has extended its title sponsorship agreement with Pirtek through to the end of the 2015 Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship season.
Pirtek has been title sponsor of the team since 2009 with its current agreement set to run until the end of the current season.
However, before a wheel has been turned in anger this year, the team has revealed an extension of its sponsorship agreement, which will now run for at least two more years.
“We are delighted and very proud to announce the signing of an extension to our contract with Pirtek UK Ltd,” team boss Mike Jordan
said. “The original agreement was in place until the end of 2013, but that has now been extended to the end of 2015.
“It gives us a huge foundation from which to carry on building our team. We want to challenge the big three in the BTCC: Team Dynamics, 888 and WSR and contend for the outright title. We have been in BTCC
since 2006 and have quietly worked our way forward to get to this position.
“I am absolutely delighted that we will be working with Pirtek for at least the next three seasons. Everyone at Eurotech Racing will be working very hard to give the team at Pirtek an outstanding return.”
The team will field an unchanged line-up this season, with reigning Independents' champion Andrew Jordan
again joined by Jeff Smith in a pair of NGTC-spec Honda Civics.
