MG ready to attack as racing resumes

Team-mate Sam Tordoff meanwhile will seek to maintain a strong start to the campaign that has seen him inside the top ten in every race so far this season.

“There's no reason that we shouldn't be strong at Oulton Park,” he said. “The car was very fast there last season – Jason was on pole position – and there have been a lot of developments to it since then. That bodes well for us.

“I learned a lot personally at the last rounds at Thruxton about tyre management and I feel I have taken another step forward in learning about the championship. It is almost a local track for me and I have done quite a few miles testing around the circuit so there are no excuses. I will be gunning for the podium again. That has to be my target now.”

Plato will obviously attack, knocking anyone and everyone out of his way as he always does. Then all it a racing incident................. Surprised he hasnt been on the phone to Alan Gow to get the Hondas turbo turned down.
