Turkington, Neal share Croft spoils

Highlights from the latest rounds of the BTCC season at Croft, with Colin Turkington and Matt Neal sharing victories on race day
Colin Turkington and Matt Neal shared the victories as the BTCC season reached the half-way stage at Croft.

Turkington took two wins for eBay Motors on his best weekend to date with the new NGTC-spec BMW 125i M-Sport, while Neal mastered challenging wet conditions to take race three for Honda.

The results of the weekend mean Neal retains his place in the championship lead and goes into the summer break leading the way for the fourth successive season.

It was a tough weekend for some in the North East however, with Toyota man Adam Morgan suffering two heavy accidents and MG losing out when a gamble on wet tyres for race two failed to pay off when the circuit dried.
