Rob Austin has moved to downplay expectations for this season despite two solid days of testing ahead of the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship campaign.

The Exocet Racing driver hit the track at both Oulton Park and Donington Park this week at the wheel of his Audi A4 to continue preparations for the 2014 season, although poor weather conditions in Cheshire hampered his running on the first of the test days.

However, the Donington Park test saw Austin complete a solid 60 laps on track and although he was pleased with the performance of the car, the former single-seater racer was eager to play down expectations for the year ahead.
