Motorbase Performance has announced its long-running title sponsorship deal with Airwaves will come to an end at the conclusion of the 2014 Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship.

The chewing gum brand has been synonymous in motorsport, beginning with its title-winning success in the British Superbike Championship with GSE Racing before switching to BTCC as part of the Motorbase Performance squad.

A relationship that has lasted since 2009 (with the exception of 2012), Motorbase Performance manager David Bartrum thanked the Wrigley's brand for their time together.
