Mercedes' Adam Morgan has been declared the winner of race two at Brands Hatch following an appeal from WSR and Colin Turkington which has handed Jason Plato a 20 second penalty.

Plato had originally received a grid penalty for the final race where the Triple Eight MG was ordered to start from the back the field.

But a further appeal from WSR and Turkington since the original ruling means Plato has now been given a 20 second time penalty, dropping the former double champion 13th in the race two classification.
