Sam Tordoff will make his European Le Mans Series debut with JMW Motorsport and will fight on two fronts this year after already being announced as a BTCC driver with West Surrey Racing.

The 25-year-old will join George Richardson and Robert Smith at the JMW team who finished third in last season's ELMS championship, notching up four podiums in the process.

Tordoff will make his debut in GT Racing as well as racing in BTCC in West Surrey Racing. He finished seventh in the drivers' standings last season with one victory and six podiums to his name. Both Smith and Tordoff are new to the team while Richardson will return for a second consecutive season in the Ferrari 458.

"I have wanted to get into GT racing now for a number of years, and this year the stars have aligned and it's finally possible," Tordoff said. "It is important for me to try and break the mould and show that I am not just a Touring Car driver. I believe with the right people and resources - that JMW have, I can have a successful GT career.
